Moon/new moon

If the moon is in its place in the sky, it symbolizes the minister of the king/leader.

Anyone who sees the moon in their home or in their hand will get married; the more light and shine it gives off, the better their future partner. This applies to both men and women.

The sun and moon can also symbolize your father and mother; if one of them falls or goes out, one of them will die.

Aisha saw in the dream three moons falling in her room, when she told the dream to her father; Abu Bakr he said: “What you have seen indicates something good, if your dream comes true, the three best people on earth will be buried in your home”.

If you see the new moon even though it is not the beginning of the month, it may indicate that a new king is about to be crowned, a child of great importance has been born, a person who has been away is about to return or that something new is about to take place.

The moon can symbolize a just king, a great scholar, an excellent son or a beautiful woman.

It is also said that the moon can symbolize a lying person or an unjust king.

Seeing the moon in its natural state in the sky symbolizes the leader’s minister

Whoever sees the moon in his home or in one of his rooms will marry a woman whose beauty can be measured by the strength of the moon’s light.

If the moon is discolored and dark, he will marry a contradictory/difficult woman.

If a pregnant woman sees the moon in her room, she will have a son.

If she sees herself taking a piece of it and wrapping it in a blanket, it suggests that her son will die.

If you see yourself reaching for the moon without reaching it, it symbolizes that you want a son but that you will not have one; if the woman who sees this is pregnant, she will have a daughter.

The Mother of the Faithful Safiyah bint Huyay saw a dream [innan hon blev muslim] when she was married to her Jewish husband.

She saw as if the moon came from Medina and landed in her room.

When she told this dream to her husband, he slapped her face and divorced her, then he said “I think you desire and want to marry this man from Medina called as-Sadiqal-Amin that everyone is talking about?”

Her dream was later realized and she became the Prophet’s wife.

It is also said that Khadija, the mother of the faithful, dreamt that the moon fell in her room, she asked some seers in Mecca about the meaning of the dream and received the answer that if it is a dream of truth, you will marry the future prophet, which was the case.

Seeing the moon disappear can indicate that a goal/ambition you have in life will not be achieved, whether it is a good or bad goal.

If a non-Muslim woman sees the moon, she will become a Muslim.

Seeing the moon in one’s home may also indicate the return of the person away.

Seeing the moon on the ground or falling to the ground can symbolize the passing of your mother.

Seeing your reflection in the moon indicates that you will have a son if your wife is pregnant; if she is not pregnant, it indicates that you will die.

If a ruler sees the moon darken, it indicates that his people and subjects will undervalue him and be dissatisfied with him.

Seeing the moon turn into a sun indicates that you will receive something honorable from your father, mother or spouse.

Seeing yourself taking a piece of the moon with your hand symbolizes that you will gain knowledge and learn the Quran, or that you will join a powerful personality or leader.

If a sick person sees a deficiency in the moon, it indicates a defect in his body, if he sees increasing in the moon, it symbolizes a stronger body and better health.

To see oneself fall down in sudjud before the sun and the moon symbolizes a terrible sin that one will commit and that one will obey the ruler in sin.

If you see the sun and the moon making sudsy noises for you, it symbolizes that your parents are happy with you.

The moon can also indicate a journey, as the moon is in constant motion.

A person who tries to keep a secret and sees the moon will have their secrets revealed.

[abu Taher]

Both the sun and the moon symbolize great personalities, such as kings, leaders, fathers, husbands, children, family, money and property and livelihood.

If you see the sun with you, on your head, in your power, in your home, or as if you are wearing it without being harmed by its heat, it indicates some kind of gain or benefit you will receive from any of the above.

If you are single, you will get married.

If your wife is pregnant, you will have a beautiful baby.

On the other hand, if you get hurt or burned by the sun or the moon, it symbolizes problems you will get from one of the above.

Seeing the sun burn or dry out gardens and crops or its heat disturbing people symbolizes diseases, pandemics, oppression by leaders or inflation/food price increases.

Several harmful suns in the sky symbolize oppressive people/leaders.

If the light from the suns is favorable, it suggests fair leaders, profits or fertility.

For a sick or frightened person to see the sun and the moon join together has no positive meaning, for Allah says

And the sun and the moon shall be joined together, and on that day man shall cry, “Whither shall I flee?”

[75:9–10]

It can also symbolize a conflict between spouses, siblings, children or an eye disease or similar.

A battle between the sun and the moon indicates a war. If the battle is by day and the sun is victorious, the people of truth will win; if the battle is by night and the moon is victorious, the oppressors will win.

Seeing the new moon indicates a message of joy or the return of a traveler.

If the person who sees the new moon is in debt, it indicates that they are in trouble and that the debt should be recovered.

The new moon can symbolize recovery for the sick and release for the imprisoned.

Multiple moons or new moons may indicate khawaridj[1]. But if they shine and people take advantage of its light, it indicates peace of mind and something favorable.
