Heart

A heart can symbolize the one who is in power and in charge.

[ibn Qutaybah]

A diseased heart symbolizes hypocrisy for Allah says of the hypocrites, “In their hearts is a disease and Allah has extended the disease to them.” [2 – 10]

A black heart symbolizes that the person will commit great sins.

[abu Taher]

A heart symbolizes a person’s mind, wit and cleverness.

It is also said to symbolize the ruler, so the good or bad state you see the heart in symbolizes the state of the ruler.

Seeing a heart can indicate a person’s piety and good speech.

Losing your heart or having it taken away from you can indicate one of four things: enormous fear, madness, bad faith, or suffering a setback.

A black heart covered by a shroud or similar indicates that the person is lost and away from the truth, commits many sins, and has a heart so blinded that he cannot distinguish between right and wrong.

Pain in the heart suggests hypocrisy and doubt or it may symbolize the accumulation of money.
