Long hair in a dream indicates trouble, the longer the hair the more trouble.

Oiling your hair symbolizes adornment and beauty as long as it’s in moderation, but if it’s too much, it’s a concern. If the oil is perfumed, it symbolizes, in addition to beauty, that you will be praised and have a good reputation. Gray hair symbolizes understanding and wisdom.

Seeing your hair shaved off while on Hajj or in battle symbolizes being forgiven for your sins. If you are in debt and see yourself shaving your hair off, your debt will be paid. If you are worried, it symbolizes that your sorrow will pass away. Hair growing where it should not normally grow indicates worry or a heavy debt. Colored hair symbolizes that something is covered and hidden.

Mustaches and hair under the arms are against the sunnah, removing them is positive and growing them is negative, as is pubic hair. Body hair in a healthy person is a person’s money; if his hair is reduced, his money is reduced.

Shaving your hair during other times can symbolize losing property. Cutting or nipping hair in a regular way that does not disfigure one’s appearance suggests getting rid of worries.

It is also said that napping hair symbolizes reluctantly repaying a debt. Long hair is also said to symbolize a long life. For women, long hair symbolizes an increase in beauty/adornment.

Pearls in the hair symbolize praising the beautiful qualities and character traits of the Prophet ﷺ. A lot of hair for a worried person can symbolize more worries and a lot of hair for a happy person can symbolize more happiness. Seeing one’s hair tied with someone else’s hair suggests a partnership or marriage with the person.

Beautiful and long hair on the right person suggests getting something good as well as peace of mind or clothes. For an unmarried person, it suggests marriage, getting gardens or a good harvest.

If a woman sees herself shaving her hair off, it indicates that her husband or close relatives will pass away. If she sees that all her hair has turned white, it may indicate that her husband is a fasiq/sinner who has chosen the wrong path in life.

Al-Kirmani said: “Hair can be interpreted in different ways; for a king it is his army, for a woman it is honor and beauty, for the common man it indicates worry and trouble, for the poor and believers it indicates that they will do more worship or hajj.

A long fringe can be interpreted with honor or children. Seeing one’s eyebrows grow longer suggests the addition of money and beauty or longer life. Seeing one’s body hair grow longer symbolizes for a person of position an increase in his money and reputation. If it’s a poor person who sees it, it indicates hard times.

If someone else takes it, that person is the cause of the lost property. Seeing yourself brushing/combing your hair symbolizes honor and victory. Seeing hair growing where it doesn’t usually grow indicates a debt that Allah will help you get rid of. Seeing one’s hair become curly suggests receiving good and blessings.

Shaving your pubic hair or the hair under your arms symbolizes becoming more pious and devout. Or shaving off the hair under your arms suggests that you will get what you are aiming for, and if you don’t, it’s better. If the hair under the arms is long, it indicates a lack of faith.

Seeing oneself plucking the hair on the chest or neck can symbolize returning an amanah [något man tilldelats i förtroende] to its owner. It is said that excessively long hair symbolizes inability to take care of one’s family, or it suggests unhappiness, or many children and fears and worries.

Some dream interpreters say that seeing yourself shaving your hair off as long as it’s not during a state of war is positive and indicates becoming independent and taking good care of your children. Shaving your hair during the four sacred months symbolizes being forgiven for your sins, getting rid of your debts and being freed from worries and sorrow. It may also indicate that one or both of your parents will pass away.

If a woman sees it, it symbolizes that she will be safe or that she will never have children.
