Ghusl
Making ghusl [tvätta hela kroppen] with cold water can have various meanings such as tawbah, to be healed, to be released from captivity, to repay a debt or safety from something one fears. Ghusl generally symbolizes being freed from various adversities.
Wudhu with cold water has the same meaning but lower than ghusl.
Whoever makes ghusl or wudhu with hot water or sees himself drinking it will suffer trouble or illness.

Ibn Sirin said that if in a dream you see yourself washing in the sea or in a river, it indicates religiosity and humility/khushu to Allah.
It is said that washing in the sea or in a river of clean and clear water has the same interpretation as wudhu with the addition that things will be made easier for one in the life to come. If, on the other hand, the water is unclean or cloudy, it has the opposite meaning, but there is still hope for the person.
If you see yourself making ghusl from janaba with what you can wash with, it suggests that things will be easier for you and you will be freed from worries and sorrow. If you are prevented from doing so, it suggests the opposite.
A person who sees himself junub but does not find water to purify himself with will not have an easy time in this or the next life.
Seeing oneself making ghusl for Friday or eid suggests attaining higher levels in the life to come as well as the above mentioned meanings of ghusl.
If you see yourself making ghusl and then putting on your clothes, it suggests that your troubles will cease and that you will be spared from various adversities and diseases. If the clothes are new, it has an even more positive meaning.
For when the Prophet Ayub washed and put on new clothes, he was freed from the hardships he had suffered.
Seeing yourself washing another person suggests that you will praise him/her.
If you see someone else washing you, it indicates that they are attached to you because they think you have something positive that you don’t actually have.
Jabir al Maghrebi said that performing ghusl in a dream indicates pure faith and piety. It is also said to indicate being praised in a good way. If you use soap, the positive meaning is reinforced.
[Khalil Shahin]
Performing ghusl suggests cleansing oneself from sins.
If you are ill and in the dream you see yourself washing and then putting on new clothes, it indicates that you will get well. If you are in debt, you will get rid of the debt. If you are in captivity, you will be released. If you are worried, you will get rid of your worries and if you are poor, Allah will enrich you and renew gifts and joy and blessings on you and your family, children and relatives.
If you are a businessman or trader whose trade is going badly, Allah will bring new profit and success to your trade and remove your worries.
If you are a person who has been removed from a position, you will be given a new position.
The proof of this is that when Allah’s Prophet Ayub, after his ordeal, performed ghusl and put on new clothes, Allah gave him back his family, children, dwellings and livestock in abundance and gave him happiness and health.
On the other hand, if you do ghusl without getting dressed, you will get well and get rid of your troubles. If you see yourself putting on worn-out clothes, you’ll get rid of your worries but you won’t be able to make ends meet.
If one completes one’s ghusl, one’s affairs are completed, and if it is not completed, one’s affairs will not be completed.
