Seeing Othman indicates progress in seeking knowledge, learning the Quran and reciting it.
Seeing him in the Prophet’s city or in a market, symbolizes knowledge and resurrection with martyrs on the Day of Judgment.
If he is seen with the Prophet, it indicates a sound heart without falsehood.
If he is seen in military garb, it may cause fitnah (division) among the scholars.
If he is seen in trade, it symbolizes worldliness and greed.
If he is seen slain in his home, it symbolizes hostility towards the Prophet’s family – may Allah protect us.
