A hand symbolizes one’s brother, to see it cut off means the death of the brother or the breaking of ties with the brother. It can also mean that the friendship between the brother and a friend or colleague is broken.

A right hand could also be interpreted as swearing an oath.

A long arm symbolizes generosity towards others.

Seeing a hand can have different meanings, it can symbolize a child, a brother, partner, property, spouse, friend, an oath, strength, or speech when a person gestures with his hands when speaking.

Seeing the right hand being cut off indicates that the person will give false testimony.

Or if the person has a sick child, it may indicate that he fears for the child’s life.

If a person sees himself losing his left hand, it indicates that he will be divorced from a partner or his spouse or friend.

Some say that having your hand cut off indicates that the person will commit theft.

To see yourself fall from a high place and break your hand symbolizes a setback with your friend, child, brother, money or trouble inflicted by a leader.

Seeing your right hand/arm longer indicates that you will receive a lot of money while being generous.

Seeing yourself cut your hand with a knife suggests that you are about to witness something astonishing.

Seeing one’s hand/arm paralyzed symbolizes that one’s livelihood stops.

A hand stained [med henna] indicates hard-earned money.

If only the fingers are colored, it indicates that the person will do a lot of tasbeh [minnas och prisa Allah].

It is said that seeing one of your hands stained indicates that you will soon lose your money and profession.

If a woman is seen trying to dye her hands but the dye doesn’t stick, it symbolizes that her husband is not showing her love.

But if the color sticks, it suggests that her husband will treat her well.

If a person sees their hands adorned with gold patterns, it suggests that they will be the victim of fraud, causing them to lose their money.

If a woman sees that, she will give money to her husband who will waste it, but she will ultimately get relief.

A clenched/closed hand symbolizes poverty.

A wide open hand symbolizes increase in livelihood/money.

If you see yourself chewing/eating on your hand, it suggests that you will benefit from what you have earned.

Whoever bites his hand is an unjust and oppressive person, for Allah says: “The Day when the wrongdoer bites his hand” [25:27]

Seeing a person drown their hands in the blood of a carcass is a person who will participate in a fitnah [förbjuden blodspillan].

A palm can mean many different things, Al-Kirmani said:” To see it beautiful has a positive meaning. The palm can also symbolize abstaining from sin.

Seeing oneself patting the back of the hand against the palm is said to indicate division.

Hitting yourself with the palm of your hand on your face indicates a setback that will happen.”
